Purdy Stable Connection was formed in the fall of 1997 by Skip and Pam Purdy. Skip discovered that there was a great need for not only high quality horse bedding but service as well. Knowing the importance of good quality bedding came about by no accident: Skip and Pam have their own active 12-stall barn. Good bedding was hard to come by, so after some investigation, they began to sell to a small customer base in the surrounding community, focusing on high quality and good service.

Quickly the business began to grow - ever expanding to the very present day. Now Skip and Pam have been joined by their two sons, one son-in-law and other employees, producing pine shavings from fresh cut trees. Unlike many companies that purchase by-product from wood mills and bag the material, Purdy Stable Connection makes their own, turning fast growing renewable pine into high quality, highly compressed bagged shavings to meet your horse's bedding needs.
